Who is Move with Marisa?
Hi, my name is Marisa.
​
I started my own fitness journey as a way to improve my mental health, after struggling for many years.
​
I quickly fell in love with the feeling of getting stronger, happier, and healthier and I experienced my own, truly life-changing, transformation.
I lost 16.5kg (3st 1lbs) and started becoming my strongest self without 'dieting', doing excessive cardio or relying on the elusive willpower I had thought was vital. It hit me that so much of what I had been taught about weight loss, being healthy and eating well was wrong.

It doesn't have to be painful or draining or restrictive. You don't have to give up chocolate or follow an influencer’s ‘perfect diet’.
​
I knew what I had to do next. I invested in expanding my knowledge and earning the qualifications I needed.
​
I became a Personal Trainer, Nutrition Advisor and Behaviour Change Coaching Specialist.
​
Now, I educate others and guide them towards their goals, improved confidence and, most importantly, sustainable change that works for them.





My Approach
I believe in the power of holistic, bespoke coaching, centered around building healthy habits that will last a lifetime. I don't use quick fixes or fad diets so if you're looking to lose the most amount of weight in the shortest time, I'm probably not the right coach for you.

Instead, we will focus on education and empowerment to help you achieve long-term success. My goal is to work with you as a teammate, and guide, to create and implement a programme that fits your unique needs, preferences, and goals.

Accountability and ongoing support is key to how I work. Together, we will set weekly goals, tackle obstacles as they come up and adapt around the variabilities of life, to make sure that your fitness and nutrition goals are met.
